Veterinary Student Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Team
The Veterinary Student Wildlife Rescue &; Rehabilitation Team is located at the School’s Clinics under the guidance of Anastasia Komninou, associate professor, and the voluntary aid of the students. The group’s purpose is to medically aid animals that belong to the country’s wildlife. After healing, the animals are either transferred to rehabilitation centers, or are set free to their natural environment, where they belong.
Football team
The School footballr team has been active for many years and, with the last years’ efforts and management, it has won the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Championship for 2008 and 2009.

Basketball team
The basketball team of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was formed nearly 11 years ago. Since then, there were many students that formed the club, some of them played in national leagues, who tried the best for the team and their school.

AEGEE
AEGEE (Association des Etats Generaux des Etudiants de l’Europe – European Students’ Forum) is a volunteer, politically independent and non-profit organization, open to students of all faculties. It aims to promote the idea of the European Union, and the collaboration and communication without borders between students. Its activities include summer schools and organizing conferences.
