Library

The School Library is located at the new building of the School, at the University Campus.

The Library is a member of the Library System of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. All members of the system that possess a Library card can borrow books. The Library is also a member of the “HERMES” programme, organised and managed by the National Documentation Center, allowing InterLibrary Loan. You can view the list of books of the Library at the online AUTh catalogue, at http://ipac.lib.auth.gr.

There is a Library Department working 2 days per week at the Clinics (11, St.Voutyra Street) as well. Please contact the Library staff to be assisted.

Computer Access

The central Computer Access area of the School provides the students with 18 PCs and is located at the ground floor of the new building, at the University Campus, near the Secretary. It is open daily during 11.00-18.00. Efforts are being done to keep the computer area open during all the working hours of the School.

The School Clinics also have a computer access area, with 9 PCs, open daily during 09.00-14.00. The assistant professor I. Savvas is responsible for the function of the Clinics computer area.

In order to access the computers, the students must create their personal account at the Network Operations Center of the AUTh, located at the 1st floor of the Biology School building. Please read further information on the documents needed to create your account.

When you create your account, you are allowed to use various online article courses and Libraries, that offer important information, studies and papers.

E-courses

The School provides several course notes and exercises online, via the BlackBoard platform supported by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
